About Us

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  We have basic filtration starting at $599 installed all the way up to Whole House Reverse Osmosis starting at $15k. We don’t try to sell you what you don’t need. Our approach is to use our 34 years of Dealership experience to design a system for you specifically.
• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  We learn about what your concerns are, assess the site for installation limits, test the water, make recommendations based on your situation, install in typically under 2 weeks and then you have us for life. We have hundreds of customers in your area that would all gladly give their feedback.
• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  (2) master Kinetico service technicians on staff full time. One of the owners holds a Master Plumber License. One of the owners holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from NCSU. One has 22 years of experience. We have 10 other offices with credentials ranging from PhD in geology to Plumbing and Engineering.
• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  Paul was with the Corporate side of Home Depot for 13 years before leaving that world and living water treatment completely. In the corporate side he was in charge of the installation programs offered in Virginia, and water treatment was one of over 40. Before Kinetico was an option in the stores he decided to purchase it for his own house because he knew it was the best product at the best Value. He saw the competition and made the choice to have Kinetico as the exclusive program in the Richmond and VA Beach stores as well as Raleigh back in 2014. The product is by far the best and the value can not be beat. Since his departure in 2015 some of the stores were switched back to the prior company because the prices were higher and their high-pressure tactics result in more $$$$$$.
• What types of customers have you worked with?

  All of our customers cover varied demographics and financial variation. We installed many systems in mobile homes, sheds, garages, plantations and restaurants so basically anyone who uses water can benefit from our service.
• Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

  We recently completed a whole-house reverse osmosis project with Ozone and 500 gallons of storage in the basement. Start to finish it was done in about one long day and the customers love the elimination of any deposits and the incredible reduction in soaps.
• What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

  Make sure you are serious about improving your water because we are not offering the cheap scams that the internet tries to sell. (Some aren’t even that cheap.) If you want the best VALUE then call us. If you want the cheapest solution then STILL CALL US, as we offer options that can meet almost any budget. We have very effective financing as well as rentals. If you have already had one of our competitors give you a recommendation then call us because we will beat it every time by at least 10%. If you want to buy your solution online then please don’t call us so we can focus on our local customers. We don’t charge for our testing and consultation but the reality is that fuel, people, vehicles and testing supplies are not free. We rely on serious people to continue this practice but usually the only folks offering “free” have high-pressure salesmen doing the consult. We are dedicated to the best solutions and the best service but you get what you pay for when you choose to buy blindfolded from a company who has no idea what is in your water, like those internet businesses that have perfected the online search capture. We have been dealers of the Kinetico product since 1986 and Kinetico was invented right here in the USA back in 1970.
• What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

  What is the goal of the water improvement? Save money? Save your house? Protect your health? Simply enjoying your tub and shower again? How long do I want to stay in this home? How much do I have available for a system or a down-payment? How much per year do I spend on fridge filters? How long does my water heater live? When was the last time I flushed my water heater? Inspected the anode rod? How much do I spend per month on TV? Cellphone? Internet? Electric? (These questions show you how much we waste on items that are gone into thin air at the end of each month and have payments that never end) water is the second most important item to our existence (behind air) and we need to value it properly. Simple changes in other areas can actually free up enough money to pay for most of our systems. So call us for a consult.
