About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer some of the best prices in town, if our competitor gives you a quote, give us a call and we will beat it!
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We treat every customer with the respect they deserve. Our office staff will offer the best appointment options to fit your schedule, then our licensed plumbers will come to your home to do a thorough inspection and diagnosis of the issues you are having and provide options to address the issue. We are always upfront and honest with our pricing. Our work is always backed up with a guarantee in writing. And we are always here to answer questions and help our customers.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Benjamin Franklin Plumbing offers a full complement residential and commercial plumbing services. As a business we hold all relevant and necessary licenses and insurance. All of our plumbers are licensed in the state of Utah and many of our plumbers are either actively in trade school or have completed trade school. We also offer specific skills training in customer service, trade specific training, and ongoing on-the-job training.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
We are passionate about providing high quality work and outstanding customer service. Through our own disappointing experiences with home service providers grew the idea that we could do it better. From the ground up this company was built with the idea that we are first and foremost a customer service and hospitality company set on delivering positive experiences, and that we happen to deliver those positive experiences through plumbing.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of customers. We do residential service, commercial service, remodels, and even new constructions. We support emergency services as well. No job is too big or too small for us, and all of our work comes with a written guarantee.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently installed a water softener system and a reverse osmosis system for a customer. We test water quality on every job we do to ensure that customers know what is in their water and provide them with advice on options to help improve their water quality. The water in northern Utah is very hard, so hard that it is hard on skin, hair, plumbing fixtures, water heaters, etc. There are also trace elements in our water that can be harmful to our health. This is the water that we all use to cook, drink, and clean with for ourselves and our family. Always have your water tested, give us a call and we will be happy to do a free analysis for you.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask your potential plumber if they are licensed. If you have work performed by an unlicensed plumber you will likely receive lower quality workmanship and may have no recourse if things go sour. Also, look at recent reviews on Google. Review count is less important than review quality. How many stars has the company received in the last month? Are there any negative reviews in the last month that could indicate poor performance?
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Every plumbing project is unique. If you have a large repipe or remodel project it is always important to have your various contractors coordinate their work. For example, never have drywall completed before the rough plumbing is completed, you will end up spending more time and money redoing work if the project is not coordinated.
