Hello! DHD provides many services in the BCS and surrounding areas. I focus mostly on rental and airbnb maintenance. If you're wondering if I can do the job you need done.. well.. It's easier to list the dannys-honey-dont's.. I don't do roofing, gas lines, pools, hvac, carpet and a few other things. I like taking on projects such as vinyl flooring, fencing, painting, pressure washing, mowing and more! Want new cabinets? YES. Garbage disposal acting up? I can fix it! Tired of that one ceiling fan clanking, wobbling or grinding? Not a problem! Exterior door rotting out? I'll replace it in a day trimmed and painted! Need a lawn service? I'm on it! Tree trimming? chop chop! Mini-blinds! Touch-ups! Window screens! Gate repairs! Filters! Cabinet pulls! Door knobs! Toilets! Outlets! Make ready! Smoke alarms! Furniture assembly! Inspections! Routine maintenance! Sinks and Faucets! TV mounts! Deck repairs! Microwaves! Vent hood replacement! Ovens! Dishwashers! Garage door openers! Light fixtures! Sliding doors! Siding! Moulding! Staining! Sheds! Single pane window glass! Water heaters! If it's in your home/rental I can probably fix it, replace it or build it. I accept cashapp, zelle or can process cards via stripe, as well as cash or check. I take pride in my work! I can be on call for emergencies after hours. I clean after myself and strive to be on time, every time! Although, with so many appointments sometimes I do fall behind when thrown a curveball.. but when I do, rest assured I'll communicate before the scheduled time if plans change. Hire me once and become an established customer. ************************************** In closing, thank you for reading, thank you for using thumbtack and Thank YOU for choosing DHD Services for your handyman needs. -Daniel Brinson, your friendly neighborhood handyman. ~hand·y·man /noun one competent in a variety of skills or inventive or ingenious in repair or maintenance work

About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, simple estimates are free unless I have to spend a lengthy amount of time measuring, designing and typing up an estimate. My standard fee for a service call is $65. If I'm able to resolve the customers issue quickly, that's usually the extent of it. However, after hours service calls are $99 (6p-8a/weekends) Beyond that prices can vary from one job to the next but are usually less than $200-$300 for most small jobs. Depending on the time and materials required it can increase to match the scope of the project. I do try to be competitive with my pricing, save the customer money and make my service a bargain.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Very simple. Discuss the project, determine if I can help effectively and efficiently and schedule an appointment. Complete the task(s), ensure satisfaction of the customer and hopefully establish a relationship for repeat business. The best kind of business.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In general.. I've been good with tools and creative problem solving my whole life. I've learned from "the old guys". My philosophy is to learn something new every day. Earn the experience points and utilize my skill set to the fullest. More specifically in this trade I was an apprentice to my Uncle for a year who's been in the business over 20 years.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a natural fit when I found my niche and I've never been happier. My background was in the chemical plants. I started as a green firewatch and spent 10 years working my way up to being supervisor of a crew in a production facility. After working numerous shutdown/turnarounds and years of grinding, I had to make a change to reduce the physical and mental stress that job demanded. After moving to College Station to be closer to family in 2021, I found my calling in serving the community as a handyman and it's truly been a blessing.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Individual home owners, rental owners, airbnb owners and a few commercial clients.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm proud of all my work. I can't pick one project. Every job I spend my time on, put my tools on and get to know is an opportunity and a blessing.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're talking to a pro on thumbtack, you've already cost them money so please be attentive and responsive
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What exactly are you needing done, and when exactly you're wanting it done by and within what budget.
