  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
During my senior year of high school, I started working part-time with a plumber and quickly discovered my passion for the trade. I loved solving problems, working with my hands, and making a real difference for people. The satisfaction of fixing something and seeing the impact firsthand was unbeatable. As soon as I graduated, I jumped into plumbing full-time, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Years later, I’m still just as passionate about providing top-quality service and helping homeowners with their plumbing needs.working part-time with a plumber and quickly discovered a passion for working with my hands and solving problems. • What types of customers have you worked with?
Happily serving all residential customers in need of service in Charleston and its surrounding areas.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my favorite recent jobs was helping a homeowner in Summerville who was dealing with persistent leaks and outdated plumbing. The issue had been causing water damage and driving up their utility bills. After a thorough inspection, we replaced old, corroded pipes, repaired the leaks, and installed a brand-new water heater for improved efficiency. The transformation was incredible—not only did we stop the leaks, but we also upgraded their system to run clean and smooth. Seeing their relief and satisfaction reminded me why I love what I do. It’s about more than fixing pipes; it’s about helping families feel valued and comfortable.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask if they are licensed, bonded, and insured—and request proof. • Licensed: Ensures the plumber has the proper training and meets state requirements. • Bonded: Protects you in case the job isn’t completed properly or there’s damage. • Insured: Covers accidents or injuries on the job, so you’re not held liable. At Drip Doctor Plumbing, we are licensed, bonded & insured (M.117835)—giving you peace of mind that you’re hiring a qualified, accountable professional.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before starting a plumbing project, homeowners should ask themselves a few key questions to ensure they hire the right professional and get the best results: 1. What is the scope of my project? • Is this a repair, upgrade, or a full system replacement? • Do I need emergency service, or can this be scheduled? 2. What is my budget and timeline? • Have I set a realistic budget for quality work? • Do I need financing options or flexible payment plans? 3. Is my contractor licensed, bonded, and insured? • Hiring a licensed plumber (M.117835) ensures the work meets code. • Bonding and insurance protect you from liabilities if anything goes wrong. 4. What materials or brands should I use? • Do I want a standard or high-efficiency water heater? • Should I consider water filtration or softener systems for better water quality? 5. What warranties and guarantees come with the work? • Does the plumber stand behind their work with a labor warranty? • Are the parts and fixtures covered by a manufacturer warranty? By asking these questions upfront, homeowners can make informed decisions and ensure their plumbing project is done right the first time.
