About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is fair, positioned midway in the market neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, offering optimal value for both clients and us. We base our prices on the home’s square footage, age, and travel distance. We commit to thorough, detailed inspections without rushing, ensuring clients are well-informed about the findings before receiving the final report.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally we get your information and project information, then after we agree on a price and date, I’ll send out a contract. The contract needs to be reviewed and signed before the inspection. The inspection will take between 3-4hrs afterwards we will go over all the findings and I can answer any questions. The majority of the time you will get the inspection report the same day.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As with all Oregon home inspectors we need to pass the national inspection course and have met the criteria to even take the test which is a mix of class time and work experience. The test is 300 questions and not notes allowed. I got certified though AHIT. As well as my 20 years in the construction industry.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
After 20 years in construction I just decided I wanted to put my knowledge to good use and have more freedom than the 9-5 could provide.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Investment properties to commercial we have done them all big and small.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Generally all of our inspections are roughly the same duration. I did recently inspect a 20 unit commercial building that took 4 days. It was good to put my years of commercial experience to use for a detail report.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don’t go with the cheapest company (ie $330) good work is not cheap and cheap work is not good. Generally you get what you pay for. This is a big investment it’s worth paying more to make sure you’re getting a detailed inspection without the inspector being rushed.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It’s a good idea to take some time and do your own walk of the house and see what you see. This helps because it gives us a good opportunity to go over the issues onsite and I can answer any questions you may have.
