Home Therapist Cooling, Heating, and Plumbing is committed to offering the most competitive prices in the area. • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In our first conversation, we’ll ask a few basic questions about your HVAC system to understand the issue and address any immediate concerns. Once we have your contact details (name, address, phone number, and email), we’ll schedule an appointment that works for you. At the appointment, our technician will thoroughly inspect your system, identify the solution, and explain how we’ll fix it. We’ll provide a clear, upfront price, and in most cases, we can start the repair right away—unless special parts are needed. By the time we leave, your HVAC system will be running smoothly again.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team is composed of highly trained and certified HVAC professionals. We undergo rigorous technical training and stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards and best practices. In addition to formal education in HVAC systems, we participate in ongoing professional development to ensure we can handle any issue with efficiency and expertise. Our commitment to continuous learning allows us to provide top-quality service and innovative solutions for all our customers’ HVAC needs.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father began his HVAC career in our home country of Cuba, and when we moved to the USA, we started our HVAC business here in Tampa Bay. Thanks to our deep experience and dedication to quality, our business grew quickly. Later, my brother Alex joined us and became our plumbing contractor, expanding our services to better meet the needs of our community. Together, we’re committed to providing exceptional HVAC and plumbing services with the same passion and expertise that has been in our family for years.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a wide range of customers, from residential homeowners to light commercial clients throughout the Tampa Bay area. Our clients include families looking to keep their homes comfortable year-round, property managers needing efficient HVAC solutions, and small businesses seeking reliable heating, cooling, and plumbing services. We take pride in adapting our approach to meet the unique needs of each customer, ensuring everyone receives high-quality, personalized service.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently did an attic blow-in insulation project to a home that had no insulation in the attic. The owner was paying almost $300 a month in her electric bill. After they filled the attic with fiberglass insulation she was paying only $150 a month. She recuperated the investment on the insulation in less than a year.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice for anyone looking to hire an HVAC or plumbing provider is to prioritize experience, transparency, and customer reviews. Look for a company with a proven track record in the area—especially one with extensive knowledge of the local climate and common system issues. Make sure they’re upfront about pricing, offer clear communication, and are willing to answer all your questions. A reputable provider will be licensed, insured, and committed to ongoing training, so they’re always prepared to deliver the best service. And finally, check for positive customer reviews to ensure they have a history of satisfied clients.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
For HVAC Services: What specific issues or goals do you have with your heating and cooling? Think about any unusual sounds, inconsistent temperatures, or energy efficiency goals. Clear details will help the professional assess the situation accurately. What is your ideal budget for this HVAC service or upgrade? Knowing your budget in advance helps the provider suggest options that balance quality with affordability. Are there specific features or brands you prefer for HVAC equipment? If you’re interested in certain brands, energy-efficient models, or smart thermostat compatibility, mentioning them up front will guide the provider in finding the best fit for you. For Plumbing Services: What specific plumbing issue or project are you experiencing? This could range from persistent leaks to planned installations. A clear description of the issue helps the plumber understand the scope of work. Is this a routine plumbing maintenance request or an urgent repair? Determining if it’s a standard service or a more immediate concern helps set expectations for scheduling and costs. Have you considered the lifespan and materials of your plumbing systems? This can influence decisions around repair versus replacement and impact the recommended solutions for your project.
