Introduction

35 years experience helping homeowners with general home repairs and remodeling. Offering services from basic toilet repair to full kitchen remodeling and everything in between. Experience with carpentry, painting, ceramic tile, hardwood floors, doors and windows, plumbing and electrical, pressure washing and general home problem trouble shooting. I hired a young strong assistant who is a huge help to me. We are very thorough, honest and pleasant and offer senior discounts. We are not done until the customer is satisfied. I also accept all major credit cards and am licensed and insured. I enjoy working with customers from start to finish to come up with the best solutions for their homes to ensure their complete satisfaction. I also enjoy teaching homeowners how to do preventative maintenance and also how to do small projects that they can handle their selves.

About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing for my assistant and myself is generally $69.00 per hour. That price is for the both of us, not each of us. 99% of all jobs require to be seem first to be able to give an estimated price on. Some contractors and handymen will give a price before seeing the job then when they come out the end price is always higher. Fitzpatrick Services does not operate that way. I would much rather come see the job first, at no cost to you and give you a price at that time.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to call a new customer and arrange an in person meeting to discuss the details of a new project. It is difficult to give a price over the phone without first seeing the project involved.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started by watching and helping my father do this type of work. He was the most thorough well thought out person I have ever known.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of customers ranging from renters to doctors and lawyers. Fitzpatrick Services does both residential and commercial work.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Went to help a customer find out where a musty smell in a finished basement was coming from. I peeled a small section of wall paper off and there was mold along the whole wall of a finished basement. The homeowners had moved in three weeks prior to this. They were devastated. I worked with them to ease their minds that it was going to be a huge job but a job that would be done right and with what they wanted. I worked with the insurance company and homeowners to come up with the best solution to resolve the problem and eliminate it from happening again. In the end the homeowners were completely satisfied with the work we did that included drywall, spackling, painting, insulating, tiling in place of the laminate flooring that was there, and electrical and lighting. The project was a huge success with the homeowners more happy than when they first bought the house.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure anyone you are considering to hire is licensed and insured!
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
My number one question to customers is how long are you going to live in your current residence. This becomes important with major renovations and if the cost are worth the rewards in the end. Would you rather have a quick sloppy job or a thorough great outcome job done for you.
