  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my own Handyman business in April of 2013 after being used and abused by corporations. I previously had my own carpentry business back in Michigan in the late 70's early 80's.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently completed a job for a client that started out as a simple trim job on an entrance porch an older Historic Victorian home, but do to structural damages ended up being an almost complete rebuild. The project took almost two weeks to complete due to weather and scheduling issues.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be extremely careful on selecting the person whom you want to complete your tasks or projects. Their are a lot of so called know it al's out there that are unskilled and looking for the fast buck. I love helping my customers out because, I enjoy what I do and take a lot of pride in my work.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before taking on a project whether it is large or small if in doubt contact a professional in the prospective field. They can give advice that many times can save them a lot of heartache and money in the long run. The DIY programs that are on TV make it look easy which can get the average homeowner in trouble very easy.
