Introduction

I have 25 years of construction and maintenance experience. From high end residential remodels to multiple commercial tenant improvement work. I am currently a Real estate house flipper, I was a building maintenance engineer for 8 years and a facility manger for 5 years I’ve managed 30 commercial buildings and apartment buildings. That’s 30 “old” SF buildings all with there own set of unique and changing problems! I am currently buying real estate and fixing up the houses and reselling them on the market I do maintenance and handyman work in the meantime in between time till my properties are sold or till I have to fix them myself. I’ve been in the trades since I was 13 years old from helping my uncle handing him tools to now working with my best friend run his construction business. I decided to venture into the handy business to help others I do such a great job helping family and friends I thought what the hey, I might as well put the skills to use! I also use to work for a nonprofit youth agency helping youth gain the skills to be successful in their life’s. I have a general nack for wanting to help! Thanks for reading this far down and I look forward to building a handy relationship with you!

About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
They should know that I do not haggle with my price I let my work and my work ethics speak for itself. It’s like dining at a really fantastic restaurant where you know they took the extra steps to make your dinner the best! How could you get bug eyed when you get the Bill?! It was that great of a dinner you might give an extra tip! I do my best to be that great dinner. My prices I would say are fair and very reasonable. In reality I am in business to make money but I’m not all about the money. I’m also in it to build long standing relationships with customers someone they can trust and call. With that being said, I believe proving ones self is better then just asking for the highest pay without even knowing me yet!
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically prefer to consult, assess and then present the costumers with options. Get to know where the mind set is. Every project is unique for example, one might want to fix up a shed with the most minimum money and efforts why, because the customer is only trying to do the minimum requirements so the refi can push through. They will demolish it and rebuild in the near future but for now they need it done fast and very cost efficient. I wouldn’t have known that if I didn’t talk to them assess and analyze the concerns.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of my experience was on the job actually doing the work! There is So much to know in the construction and maintenance industry that 95% of it can’t be learned in school. The best part about most of my experience being in the field is working with very experienced and knowledgeable individuals that all have different and efficient styles of work I carry a part of each and everyone of there teaching’s with me.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started with my uncle whom is a plumbing contractor when I was 13 years young. My first task was to make sure I handed him the right tools and parts. I did my best to remember all the names of the tools and parts so much that by the time I was 15 I was already doing copper re-piping by myself.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with general contractors, residential customers, building managers, HOA groups, medical facilities managers, slum lords, cheap penny pinchers, reality groups, insurance claim agents (whom by the way are penny pinchers) renters, wife’s upset husbands, upset they called me and claim they know more then me and try to tell me how to do my job type of customers. Small business Store front owners, project managers, project coordinators. High security clearance airport customers, high end restaurants, high end retail stores, charity groups overseeing projects they have donated to. Grumpy old timers.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently built a big huge mega deck made from ipe wood. The project was in Millbrae and the owners goal was to walk through and enjoy his acreage and all the wildlife that surrounded it.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Consult with someone who isn’t all about the money, but is in business to make money so they can live. Sometimes things can be solved so easily you might think, “I wish I would’ve known that” before paying someone. work with someone knowledgeable specific to your handy needs often times guys just take anything just so they can earn more which is understandable but at least have them be very experienced in the tasks you hire them for. Also be sure to let your handyman know what you are try to accomplish meaning a lot of people want and expect to much so I tell my customers this, “ there are 3 things I can do for you, I can do the job good, cheap, and fast I can only do 2 of those 3 things at the same time so you pick.” If you want it done cheap and fast then it won’t be good. If you want it fast and good then it won’t be cheap. If you want it good and cheap then it won’t be fast. Let your handy person know what your intentions are, are you looking to put a bandaid on something or are you looking for a permanent fix? Is this your rental unit or is this your primary residents? This type of info is critical for your handy person to know up front before they can accurately help you.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do they even have the experience, do they have the time requirements that match the customers, does the pay rate fit with the customers budget and most importantly do they back there work up with 100% satisfaction.
