About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Charity Plumbing we understand that our world has changed. With a changing world, we must equally change. Many folks work split shifts and varying days off. We do not feel they should have to pay more for services on "uncommon" days, so we never have an after hours charge.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we have established the customers needs our office staff will be your very own profile in our database. We will then help you select a date and time that best suits your needs.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our field staff undergo rigorous training throughout the year, year after year. As technologies change we train our staff to keep up with the times. We also train them on the ways of a forgotten era. The owner specializes in older plumbing (Pre 1950 era) and teaches each technician these skills. Our office is taught best practices to help customers and staff.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
The owner started in the trade over 25 years ago in NY after taking a 30 hour class in plumbing. He worked his way up in the trade from digging ditches to being a skilled technician. The company was started in 2017 by a full time single dad of two children under the age of 5. We now have a staff of 14.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with all types of customers here at Charity Plumbing. From residential customers to commercial service there is no customer we can not work with.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently replaced over 400 feet of sewer line for the TA truck stop in Tonopah. This was no small undertaking and consisted of tunnelling under hundreds of feet of flooring to replace aging piping.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
At Charity Plumbing our philosophy is just because you can doesn't mean you should. We believe in always being honest and charging fair pricing. That being said, we suggest getting a second opinion if your gut says something isn't right. Know your market and what pricing is.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It never hurts to do a little research into your service request prior to your appointment. That being said DR. Google isn't always right, but it does help you get a better understanding of what you're up against.
