About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to offer fair pricing for top level services. One thing I try not to do is to throw out a low price with no intention to support that estimate.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I know what the customer wants or needs, I bring the solution to them. Having the right equipment on hand to solve the problem.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning, taking classes, and studying solution. This knowledge I add to my 40 years of construction experience.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
After 14 years as a security alarm, and access control technician, and 10 years experience in door, and weatherstripping experience I began to add locksmithing skill to my services. This gives me a unique skill set of not just understanding how locks are installed and repaired but how doors work in relation to the frame and weatherstripping systems.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
I specialize in both residential and commercial services. Locking hardware, panic devices, and closer repair and installation. I have much experience in setting up and maintaining master keying systems for key control. Upgrading security on customers homes.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently got a call from a lady near me, who had a 100 year old door. It was beginning to come apart and was dragging the threshold. This had caused the bottom rail to break. I was able to repair it so that it opens and shuts properly and is no longer coming apart. While she was facing a $2000 cost to replace a custom door I was able to repair it for $400 giving this old door another 20 to 25 years of life.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don’t fall for the deception of the scam artist who offer a dirt cheap service call then hit you with a super high bill when they get there. Locksmithing service is not cheap as it requires tens of thousands of dollars investment to have what is required to solve the many different problems that are faced. A good locksmith gives a honest estimate and his price will only change if circumstances change from what he was told.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do I need new equipment or just a repair. Sometimes the equipment is just worn out, but many times it just needs some attention. When moving into a new home, who has had access to the keys.
