NOT a certified electrician or plumber, I have done bathroom remodels, plus other projects requiring me to do electrical and plumbing. Minimum cost of project before parts cost-$225 -COST- Looking at job, planning, adding up numbers for contract, typing up contract, driving time, time of fueling vehicle to take care of job, loading parts/tools from storage, shopping time, unloading tools/parts at job site, doing job, picking up/load vehicle, cleaning up, garbage to landfill, store returns, returning tools/parts to storage, add up vehicle millage and receipts for taxes. Also for a portion of the cost of tools needed, vehicle, and other normal business expenses.

      Discuss the project, look/get pics/meassuresments of project. Create a contract, review the contract with customer and proceed from there.

      Learned from helping my neighbor's business doing this stuff. Seamed easy and started doing it on my own and building from there.
