About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give pricing before any work is done. I'm happy to do a free estimate any time.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
depends on the job. for lockouts and rekeys I need a state ID before work. any thing else I take a look at what is needed and write up the price. then if you agree I start the work.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a member of ALOA.( associated locksmiths of America) some of my training is though them and some of it is from assa abloy academy. then of course I've had a ton of in person training from locksmiths above me.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I did security years back and got interested in lock picking. ended up working for a locksmith for 5 years. learned car keys, doors frames and low voltage work.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
all kinds. from people locked out of their car to replacing the door and frame at an O'Reilly's. high security locks, key pad locks , master key systems and panic bars. I've done alot.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
did a door and frame job in wheeling IL. it was 8 of them. mostly fond of it because it was a learning experience.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
ask for a full price before work is started. had a few customers tell me they won't use their last locksmith because he wouldn't give prices before work is done.
