About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, we offer rekeys for homes and businesses for $89-$134 to come out and $15 per lock cylinder. We offer lockout services for homes, businesses and autos for $89-$134 depending on the day and time. These are flat rates unlike the scammer locksmiths in the valley who offer $X on up pricing, then charge 3-5 times that amount when they arrive.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to first walk through the project with the client so they know what to expect regarding pricing, what's included in the price, how the job will be performed, and how long the job is expected to take. Then I live up to those commitments to the best of my ability.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained under experienced locksmiths, both formal and informal class experience and belong to a network of over 1000 locksmiths around the country that can help me with unusual and or one off issues.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad was an influence. He tried to train as a locksmith when I was younger. Later in my life when choosing to open my own business, I though putting my previously gained locksmithing skills to good use helping others was a great idea. Hence, Old Glory Locksmith was born.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Many drivers of cars and over the road trucks - Owners, tenants and managers of properties - Owners and managers of businesses.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently helped a woman who was locked out of her car at 1 in the morning. She asked for help from the general public for 2 1/2 hour before she ran into a client of mine who gave her my business card. In 15 minutes from the time she called Old Glory Locksmith, I had her keys back in her hands and she was finally able to get on with her evening.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Try very hard not to hire the scammer locksmiths in the valley who offer $X on up pricing, then charge 3-5 times that amount when they arrive. If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. There is no such thing as a $20 locksmith.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Any legitimate locksmith should be able to quote your project over the phone with flat rate pricing. Ask for a price commitment to weed out the scammers.
