About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unlike many other service companies, we don’t charge by the hour. When you schedule with us, you’ll know the cost upfront—no surprises. We visit your location, assess the project in person, and provide a free quote based on the specific work required.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love welcoming new customers and aim to build long-lasting relationships! Our pricing is always transparent—you’ll know the cost upfront before any work begins. To get started, we simply need your name, phone number, email, and address. You’ll receive a 2-hour appointment window, and your technician will text you when they’re on the way, giving you a more precise arrival time. It’s that simple! For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our owner-operator brings over 25 years of experience in the industry. As a master of his trade, he knows the construction business inside and out. Before founding Today Home Service, he successfully built, operated, and sold several service companies, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Our primary focus is on residential customers. While we have experience working with contractors, new construction projects, and small commercial buildings, our true passion lies in serving homeowners. Whether it's addressing an urgent issue or bringing a dream renovation to life, we take great satisfaction in helping homeowners realize their home's full potential.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
On a cold Saturday night in February, we received a call from an elderly couple who had been without power for over 24 hours due to a downed power line. The power company informed them that their home couldn’t be reconnected to the grid until their meter was upgraded and brought up to code. Their house, being over 80 years old, needed urgent attention. Desperate and cold, they were calling around, hoping to find someone who could help after hours. We arrived just before 8 p.m., ready to assist. We got to work immediately and coordinated with the power company to ensure everything was up to standard. A few hours later, we completed the necessary upgrades to the main meter panel. The power company inspected and approved the repairs, reconnecting the power line. By around 11 p.m., the couple finally had power and heat again, bringing an end to nearly two days without electricity.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
      1. Check Licensing and Insurance: Make sure the company is licensed and insured to protect yourself from liability and ensure the work is done safely and to code. (We are fully licensed and insured) 2. Experience and Expertise: Look for providers with extensive experience, particularly with the type of service you need (e.g., repairs, installations, or upgrades). An experienced technician is more likely to diagnose issues accurately and perform reliable work. (Our owner-operator has been in the business for over 25 years) 3. Transparent Pricing: Choose a company that offers upfront, transparent pricing. Avoid providers who give vague estimates or charge by the hour without a clear breakdown of costs. (We always offer a free quote by a certified technician) 4. Communication and Professionalism: Pay attention to how responsive and professional the company is. Clear communication and punctuality are signs of reliable service. 5. Local Knowledge: Local providers are familiar with regional building codes and weather conditions, which can impact HVAC performance and electrical safety. (Our owner-operator is native to Utah County) 6. Warranty and Guarantees: A reputable provider should stand behind their work, offering warranties on parts and labor. (We provide a 1 year warranty guarantee on all of our work!)
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What is your budget? What is your timeframe? Are you open to suggestions or possibilities a professional might recommend?
