About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mr. Electric offers upfront, flat rate pricing so there are no surprises on your bill. Ask us about our home safety check, which we can offer as a complimentary service with every customer.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you call or fill out an appointment request online with Mr. Electric, we’ll confirm availability with you as soon as possible and provide updates throughout your experience, beginning to end. We’ll treat your property like it’s our own, using our own floor mats and shoe covers to keep dirt and dust off your floor. Our tool mats ensure no tool rests on a surface on your property. Plus, our service comes with a one-year workmanship guarantee and manufacturer’s parts warranty.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All Mr. Electric locations operate under a master electrician license. This means you get a service professional who will protect your property by working safely and keeping it up to code.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
20 plus years ago I began my career as a journeyman electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 5 Pittsburgh and grew from there into a position as a Director of Facilities and Engineering with a large Pittsburgh based healthcare system. After many years in the corporate world my wife and I decided it was time to make a change and get back to what we loved, so we started Mr. Electric of North Hills where we are able to help people have safe, efficient, and beautiful homes and businesses.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Mr. Electric serves residential and commercial customers. We’re here to keep your home or business safe, efficient, and convenient.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
At Mr. Electric we take pride in all of our projects as our mission is to deliver amazing customer experiences with uncompromising quality in our work. No matter if our project is a simple switch replacement or a complex whole home re-wiring project, we promise that every customer will have an amazing experience and exceptional quality work.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you’re a homeowner, you might be thinking about doing your own electrical work. Before you do, consider the complexity and danger. You may need to take out the proper permits and have the work inspected by the proper authorities. Plus, the safety of your family and your home should always be considered before you undertake any electrical work. This is where Mr. Electric can help.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Mr. Electric offers tips and considerations for your home and business. Check out our blog to answer questions about energy savings, buzzing sounds coming from your lights or switches, home safety, and many other topics.
