      There is a one-hour minimum for services, with any additional labor available at a discounted rate. Unlike many contractors, I do not charge a trip fee.

      I begin by reviewing the scope of the projects the customer would like completed to provide an estimated labor cost and assess whether any additional materials are required. Once the details are finalized, I coordinate with the customer to schedule the earliest available date that aligns with their availability to complete the work efficiently.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
      Many of the skills I use today were instilled in me during my upbringing on a small homestead, where weekends were dedicated to repairs and home improvements. Additionally, I am a proud recipient of the Eagle Scout award.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
      Whether it was lending a hand to assemble a child’s swing set or providing a specialty tool, Josh was the go-to person for friends and family when household projects needed to be completed. Handy Harding LLC was founded to bring that same dependable service to the local community.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
      I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers. With the rise of online shopping, many find products they love but need assistance with assembly or installation once they arrive.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
      During the summer months I am often designing and building new decks. The winter months exercise equipment assembly is a very common request, most machines require 1-2 hours from unboxing to final product testing.       Before hiring a multi-trade craftsman, take a quick walk around your home and make a list of potential projects you'd like completed. When scheduling the service, ask if all tasks can be completed in a single visit to maximize efficiency and value.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
      Will the service professional need to bring any specific parts or materials? Are there any additional tasks that should be completed during this visit?
