About Us
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we'd like to speak to you (whether through email/messaging/over the phone) to make sure we fully understand the work needed. An onsite visit may be needed, and if we are hired the cost of this visit is removed from the total price. We will send over fully licensed and insured electricians to complete your job and will treat your home or business with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Five years of apprentice training and 15 years experience.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Large corporate customers such as Apple Corp. and Macy's, mid-sized customers such as the Town of Warwick, and the Sullivan and New Paltz school districts, and home owners/small businesses. No matter the size of the customer or the job, we pride ourselves in providing the same level of service and care for each and every project.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
      - Do your research on service providers and read reviews and feedback from previous clients. This will give you an idea of their expertise, reliability, and professionalism. - Check credentials to be sure a service provider has the necessary license and qualifications. PowerGen Electric is fully licensed, insured, and bonded, so you can rest easy knowing you're making the right choice when you hire us. - Consider the 'cost' of hiring the cheapest provider. While a low quote may seem appealing, you want to make sure your service provider is fully licensed and can complete the job efficiently and accurately, preventing more work and more cost down the line. - Finally, trust your instincts! If something doesn't feel right or you have doubts about a provider, it's better to keep looking for someone who you feel comfortable with.
