About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For larger or more complex projects, I provide a detailed estimate, so the customer knows what to expect upfront. I also try to be flexible and offer competitive rates while delivering high-quality work.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by discussing the customer’s needs in detail, either over the phone or via text. Then, I usually schedule an on-site visit to assess the job and provide an accurate estimate. Once everything is agreed upon, I set a schedule that works for the customer and make sure to maintain open communication throughout the process. After the job is completed, I follow up to ensure they are satisfied with the work.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed specialized BOCES training in electrical work, as well as on-the-job training. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in both residential and commercial electrical systems. Additionally, I keep up to date with the latest industry standards and building codes to ensure that my work is compliant and safe.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always had an interest in working with my hands and solving technical problems, which led me to the electrical trade. I started out by helping friends and family with small handyman jobs and gradually expanded into more complex electrical work. As I gained more experience, I decided to pursue it professionally and now I manage my own business, focusing on electrical and handyman services.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, landlords, property managers, and small business owners. My clients have varied needs, from simple handyman tasks like repairs and installations to more complex electrical work such as rewiring, panel upgrades, and troubleshooting. I’ve also worked with customers preparing their homes for sale or renovation and those managing rental properties who need quick and reliable service.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A recent project I really enjoyed was a full electrical panel upgrade for a residential home. The job took about two days to complete. It was rewarding because I was able to bring the homeowner’s electrical system up to code and improve their safety while increasing the efficiency of their home. The customer was extremely satisfied with the outcome, which is always a great feeling.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who is insured, and has strong reviews from previous clients. It’s also important to find a provider who communicates clearly and is upfront about costs and timelines. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about their experience and approach to ensure they are a good fit for your project.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers should consider the scope of their project, their budget, and the timeline they have in mind. It’s also important to think about any specific requirements or preferences they may have, such as materials or design choices. Lastly, they should be clear about their expectations for communication and updates throughout the project.
