• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  I do not have an hourly set wage, I try to save my customers as much as possible and find that pricing by the job works well.
• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  I first like to see if my customer is educated on the product, or service they are looking for, and give different options, solutions, and most importantly price options. It is very important to me to help save my customers as much as possible on cost, without compromise to quality.
• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I have been in almost every trade in the building industry, 6 years as a Warranty Technician for a major custom home builder in Charlotte N.C., and 5 years as a building Superintendent for a trac home builder in Charlotte as well.
• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  My father got me started in carpentry when I was 8 by building a double car garage onto our house and converting the single car garage we had into a den with a wood burning fireplace.
• What types of customers have you worked with?

  I have had customers that barely knew a house was made of wood, to customers in Major businesses use my services, and I am proud to say I have been able to have success on all levels.
• Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

  I recently built a deck for a customer that made me proud of who I am and how I do business. She had a lovely home, was on a tight budget but wanted a custom look. I gladly pointed her in the right direction to lower the cost of materials, and I did a nice special design with the decking that she was very happy with.
• What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

  Do not pay for services up-front, materials yes, but make sure that you get a detailed list of everything the contractor asks for, and place the order to be delivered to your address.
• What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

  Is it totally necessary, what are costs, what are stages of project, try to get to know the product you are looking for, and always ask the contractor their opinion on difficulty or ease, reputation of products.
