Introduction

My goal at every project is to leave my client 100% satisfied. I am collaborative, flexible, and will endeavor to listen and understand exactly what my client expects the completed project to look like. I’m happy to share that I received my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine and and scheduled to receive the second one on April 5th. In addition, I’ve received both Pfizer COVID boosters.

About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $65.00 an hour plus material. Depending on the scope of the project, I will bundle the cost.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once I have responded to a request, I generally will ask a few questions to get a thorough understanding of the scope of the project. I then make a proposal that is equitable for my client and myself.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I owned four homes built prior to 1928. One in Boston, built in 1898, another in Boston built 1928, one in La Grange IL built in 1894 and another in La Grange built in 1928. Let's just say, I've had over 30 years of "on the job" training.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
My son has been with Thumbtack for quite a while and is doing really well. I like to work with my hands and I need to work. This appeals to me and I'm finding it to be better than straight commission sales.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
Small businesses, home owners, landlords, renters.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I'm helping an absentee landlord prepare her town home for new renter. I have repaired banisters in the house I have mounted and hung light fixtures I will be painting 2 bedrooms I will be replacing blinds I will be repairing a door knob I will be mounting a Door Bell The entire project will take 2 days
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone who has experience in doing what you need done. If they don't check their references, request reference. Hire someone you trust.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What is your budget? What exactly do you want done? When do you want the project done? How long do you think it should take?
