  15+ years hands on and peer mentoring.
• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  Growing up on a ranch in Oregon, I was re-building fence by the time I was 9 years old. I built my first treehouse at age 10. Framed houses in high school and college. I enjoy hard work and learning new skills.
• Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

  I designed and built a ~12x24 turf area with a privacy fence for our dog. Graded for drainage, with 6 inches of 3/4 inch rock then 2-3 inches of 3/8 fines then a animal friendly turf. Saves a lot of heartache whenever our yard is wet and muddy or we don’t have time to walk the dog. I had approximately $2500 in materials and 1 week of labor to complete the project.
