About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mr. Electric offers upfront, flat rate pricing as a quote, NOT AN ESTIMATE, THAT IS DESIGNED TO BE CHANGED, so there are no surprises on your final bill. We apply attractive discounts for military/first responders and seniors. Ask us about our whole home electrical safety check, which we offer complimentary to every customer.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you call or fill out an appointment request online with Mr. Electric, we’ll confirm scheduling availability with you as soon as possible and provide updates throughout your experience, beginning to end. We’ll respect your home using floor mats and boot covers to keep from tracking or damaging your floor. We also ensure all other surfaces are protected from tools by using a cushioned tool mat. Lastly, our service comes with a 100% workmanship guarantee and manufacturer’s parts warranty to provide peace of mind after we've completed.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to having a Master Electrician on staff, all our Service Professionals undergo continuous education and safety training. This means you get a Service Professional who will protect your property by working safely and ensuring its code compliant.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
Having started my career in the construction trades as a laborer then working up as a union electrician.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
All types really, grumpy and sweet. First time homebuyers, and the elderly, whose home is invaluable. Big projects and small. Cash customers as well as those needing help with financing for larger re-wires and panel work. Mr. Electric serves residential and commercial customers. We’re here to keep your home or business safe, efficient, and convenient. And to keep your projects cost efficient.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A double panel swap with SE riser installation. A long day of upgrading an extremely old service. This homeowner had no earth ground on his electrical system. 1 Day Another happy homeowner!
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
With regards to maintenance, your homes electrical system is no different than the roof or siding. Some things are noticeable, and some are not. Having a QUALIFIED electrician in your home for service or maintenance/repair is paramount. One who is trained to observe and identify hard to see age related issues or hazards. Find someone who, like Mr. Electric, is willing to perform a complimentary, no-charge, whole home electrical safety inspection. Even if you are only having someone out to install a ceiling fan, it's good to give your home a good once over to be sure what YOU cannot see is identified.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do I really want to find the least expensive guy? (Why? electricity and fire go hand in hand). What added value will the Professional bring? What type of support will I have after they have completed? How long have they been in business, how long will they be in business? (The guys offering bottom dollar are all in a race to the bottom. Either they are engaging in bait and switch, (where they tell you a low price to get in your door, then come to you with pieces of your home telling you the price has tripled), or just don't understand overhead and how to keep the business afloat. They won't be around long. Find a business who gives a "Quote". It's a quote! Quotes do not change. "Estimates" are designed to be changed. You can expect it will be. We at Mr. Electric give Quotes. We have been wrong about a charge in the past, but we absorb the mistake vs. coming to you asking for more. Lastly, ask the company "what's your mission statement"? It should roll off their tongue. Mr. Electric's mission statement is... "To provide a service so remarkable we become a beloved household name"
