Introduction

I’m a perfectionist, problem solver, and helper of folks. I'm fluent in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and dogs. I design and build furniture. I was previously a Silicon Valley product designer for too long. Now I use those skills to make people's lives better every day. It's the most rewarding thing I've done. I have the experience, tenacity, and tools to tackle anything. How can I help‽

About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a one hour minimum per visit, followed by 20 minute blocks. The more information I know prior to our visit, the more prepared I will be with regard to tools and materials.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Let’s chat about the project. Then you’ll send me some photos or videos of the situation. I’ll give an estimate of how much time I think it’ll take, and we’ll get the ball rolling.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m rather handy fellow with a lot of tools and experience. While working in the tech industry for 21 years, I also had a furniture business on the side. I’ve designed, built, and maintained a lot of things in my life.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
I enjoy working for folks with high attention to detail. I don’t cut corners.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I built a small deck under some stairs, where my customer placed their child’s playhouse. The project took me a day and a half. To ensure the kids didn’t get splinters, I routed the edges (1/2” round over) and belt sanded the entire top.
