Introduction

My business model is simple. Do good work. Communicate. Set realistic expectations. Follow thru. Provide exceptional value. After having served in the military for over two decades, the next 20 years I spent polishing my skills in the building trades, customer service, sales and marketing/advertising industries. These days, I enjoy time with my family, working on our property and servicing my clients' punchlist needs across Nassau, Duval, northern Clay & Saint John's counties, as well as, the southeast Georgia border. • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  Pricing depends on the project and scope of work. My service fee is task specific and hourly rates apply after 2 hours when detailed in my quote.
• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  15-30 min appointment to review project. Schedule project date(s). Communicate via phone/text/email.
• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  Vocational training as well as professional training and on the job training in the building trades industries.
• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  I've been involved in the building trades my entire life.
• What types of customers have you worked with?

  I work with home owners, renters and small business owners.
• Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

  An Airbnb apartment owner needed to update a small kitchen cabinet area and had a very tight budget. I demo'd existing area, rewired for range vent/light and additional lighting and switches. Used reclaimed cabinets from Habitat Restore, reconfigured boxes as needed to maximize space. It took about 3 days; total spend under $500.
• What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

  If your home remodel/project involves plumbing, electrical or structural renovation, be sure your contractor has a state/county contractor license and carries liability, property damage and workmens comp insurance.
• What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

  What is it that you are wanting to accomplish? Do you have a budget? Will you need financing? What is your timeline?
