About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the scope of work after a thorough understanding of the ask has been met. We are a licensed and insured Home Improvement Contractor with the state of CT. Times are much different than just a few years ago. Now we have to deal with the ridiculous cost of material and also fuel. We realize that despite these obstacles, work must progress. We will continue to be as competitive as best we can!
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will typically receive the request from the customer with details. If there are any questions we will schedule a call prior to providing pricing. We utilize a management system that takes all of client information, provides a professional quote that is downloadable/printable. Our quotes require a signature prior to work beginning, every detail of what is to be done will be outlined in our quotes and you will have this for your records. Payment is automated through our system as well for credit card payments.
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would highly recommend that clients do their homework first. Take some time to review the provider, their reviews, their proof of work, verify that they are licensed and insured. Does this provider have a good track record? I would be careful of the guy who is priced significantly lower than everyone else. Chances are they are inexperienced and will lead to requesting additional funds as the project progresses. Many people will perform work and 99% of the time everything may be fine, but the one exception where things fall apart could become very costly should the provider not be insured. Make sure they are background checked! You never know who you are inviting into your home. Many of my clients have chosen to go off and handle their business and leave me to work in their home, while I appreciate the trust, I would warn anyone against this. You don't need to hover over someone while they work, but sometimes just knowing your home keeps things in check.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
      1. Can they provide a written quote with the company's letterhead? 2. Are they licensed and insured? 3. When can they start and how many days will this project take? 4. Will they be the one performing the work or does it get subbed out to someone else?
