Introduction

We are a family-owned business based in Upland providing handyman services in the foothill communities. We started our business with the goal of providing trusted, reliable handymen and exceptional communication with our clients. From installing ceiling fans and TV mounts, to replacing outlets and switches or installing new appliances, we can tackle almost any handyman task and help you gain more free time and peace of mind. We also have a strong focus on helping seniors age-in-place safely by installing grab bars, widening doorways, ramp installations, and other safety modifications. About Us
  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our estimates are free -- we do not charge for the opportunity to provide you with an estimate and earn your business. We strive to be very competitive with our rates while also offering the highest quality of customer service. TruBlue is licensed, insured, and bonded. Our technicians are back-ground checked.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We speak on the phone to understand the services offered. Where possible, a phone estimate can be offered. Many times an on-site appointment is needed to look at the projects first-hand so we can offer an accurate estimate and ensure we can meet all of your needs.
  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians have extensive experience in carpentry, construction, facilities maintenance, and several other areas within the industry.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
We saw a need for RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY handymen after personally experiencing less than satisfactory handymen services many times over the years. Our goal is to earn your trust through fair pricing, excellent communication, and skilled technicians...starting with our first phone call.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! Many of our clients are senior citizens, and our services are tailored to their needs to ensure a safe and well-functioning home. We work with many busy families with long To-Do lists, helping to alleviate that burden for them. Our commercial clients rely on us to perform routine maintenance in their storefronts and buildings specific to their brand and business needs.
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A client had one of those long and annoying To-Do Lists that he finally decided to tackle. We were able to re-build and strengthen a wood fence that had fallen down during the windstorms, and did so in one day. His 4 dogs were able to roam freely once again, making the entire family happy! We also repaired and installed weatherproof wiring, outlets, and switches. Lights and fans worked again, and the nerve-wracking fire threat was removed. Finally, we replaced a garage entry door and installed roof flashing. All told, this work took 4 days. Most importantly, our client was extremely happy to have these jobs handled one and for all!
  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Protect yourself. Hire only licensed and insured handymen/contractors. Remember this is your home and you want to protect your investment, so hiring the "cheapest" handyman is very often not in your best interest. In other words, you get what you pay for.
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What other projects do you need to have done around the house? Create a strong list so you can discuss other work at the time of your estimate appointment. Often times money can be saved if tackling multiple jobs at the same time. Example: Is it a simple toilet replacement, or do you want to upgrade your bathroom flooring at the same time? While we are working in the bathroom, do you need a new GFCI outlet installed? Grab bars in the shower? In other words, try not to minimize the job thinking you'll save money. If we are going to be out there, perhaps it's worth your while to get more tasks accomplished.
