Introduction

About Me Hi, I’m Ali the owner and founder of Sletco Electronics. I hold an Associate degree in Engineering Science from SUNY/WCC, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. From a young age, I enjoyed assisting neighbors with small repairs and building with Lego, which sparked my passion for hands-on projects. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills and now have a fully equipped woodworking shop and lab at home, where I continue to perfect my craft. With over a decade of professional handyman experience, I specialize in: • TV mounting • Painting • Lighting • Electrical work • And more I take immense pride in my work and prioritize customer satisfaction above all else. Purchasing my first home revealed the importance of quality workmanship, as I often found myself redoing jobs to meet my standards. This experience fuels my commitment to providing top-notch service and craftsmanship for my clients. Whether it’s a simple repair or a complex project, I’m here to deliver reliable, high-quality results you can trust.

About Us
  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently completed a project where a customer needed three ceiling fans installed in their new home. The master bedroom was prewired for a fan, but the other two rooms were not — which surprised the homeowner, as most builders typically include prewiring. To prepare, I asked the client to send me pictures of the rooms and confirmed whether the home was a single-story or two-story building. This allowed me to assess the situation and gather the necessary materials in advance. For the prewired master bedroom, installation and mounting took less than an hour. For the other two rooms, I needed to run new wiring, install switches, and access the attic to locate the appropriate cables — all while ensuring the wiring remained concealed for a clean, professional look. Including a trip to Home Depot for materials, the entire project took about seven hours. The client was particularly impressed because other pros had recommended running cables along the walls, which would have been visible. I was able to achieve a much cleaner result, and the client was very satisfied with the outcome.
