I charge a flat rate. No Varying by the Hour. I don’t come and see the problem and pretend as if it’s more work than it really is nope 👎 Not my style. I alway ask all new customer to speak to them. So I can know exactly what is the nature of the work. So that I can provide the customer with an accurate quote. • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 25 years Of Journeyman Experiences. On two Different Continent’s.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Journey with Electrical work started on a different Continent. Over 25 years Ago And under a different Electrical Standards ( British Standards ). So that passion for working with Electricity was always within me. I got the Opportunity to go Work Study/Internship During the Holidays. After the Holidays. I continued working as an Apprentice. The first lighting circuit I Learned to wire Was a 3 ways Switching. I continue working and going to classes in the evenings. I stared getting my own lil lil jobs. That was in Guyana 🇬🇾. I came to the USA 🇺🇸 in early 2000s I started doing an Electrical Course online just to familiarize myself with the ( American Standards ) the Terminology and the NEC Codes. I work with Several Electric Companies. I became a Union Member. Then I was put unto Thumbtack. Which I give thanks for each and every day 🙏 Blessed... Even when I was working for Companies. • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would say to any Customer who is looking to hire an Electrician here on Thumbtack. Any pro that has the journey within them as an Electrician. Meaning a pro who has years upon years of Experience Working in the Electrical Field. Anyone can join two wire and get a light to work. That doesn’t make them an Electrician. If you hire someone to find a problem in your Electrical Installation. And that person is suggesting to run any new wire or wires without fully Identifying the Cause of the Problem. Don’t work with that Person. Work with a Pro. Someone that is dedicated. Who have the patience’s to seek out the reason for the Problem that you the Customer Is Experiencing. I don’t work by the hour. My prices is the same from the start of the project to the Finish. If there is need for more material that’s on the Customer. My Labor Cost reminds as it is at the start. No Hourly Cost... Dexworks Repairs and Services...
  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
All Customer should make sure they know exactly what is going on with whatever is happening at there place. If they are not sure. Then talk with the pro. Make sure the pro is giving you information on resolving the issue that makes sense to you base on what you’re seeing or hearing or observing going on with your Electricity. Not just trying to find a substitutes with out going the Length to find out what the Cause... Dexworks Repairs and Services...
